Application steps and wait time

The MM2H program is regulated by the Malaysian government and applications must be done via approved agents

The process typically takes around two to three months and consists of the following steps:

  5. Conditional Approval: Pay the balance upon receiving the approval letter.
  6. Enter Malaysia: Within 3 months, complete a medical check-up, open a bank account, and secure insurance.
  7. Visa Endorsement: Obtain the MM2H visa. If buying property, a one-year visa is issued first, with 12 months to complete the purchase and receive the full pass.
